Abstract:

Mock-Ups for Visualizations of Medical Data Relevant to Cooperation The aim of this bachelor thesis is a rough concept for creating mock-up for the project Visual Integrated Clinical Cooperation. The project aims to integrate forms of cooperation in the field of neurosurgery in a visual system. The mock-up in this work should illustrate first methods of visualisation. The focus lies on methods which visualize data on the human body. The first part describes the basics of visualization and the relation to visual tradition in medicine. Afterwards a Use Case is defined which provides the data for the visualization. It was developed through own observations. Possible visualization methods are identified and outlined. A rough concept for creating mock-up will be presented and implemented by way of example. Finally, resulting tasks are named and an outlook on the further course of the project is given.
